What exactly do I get?
A subdomain like myapp.subdy.io pointing at any IP you choose, with DNS records you control, optional wildcard TLS certificates and dyndns2-compatible IP updates.
How fast do DNS changes propagate?
Our nameservers pick changes up within a second. What visitors see also depends on resolver caches — records default to a 300s TTL.
Can I use my own router for dynamic IPs?
Yes. Any router or client that speaks the dyndns2 protocol (Fritz!Box, OpenWRT, ddclient, Synology) works with your API token as the password.
What happens after the Pro trial?
After 7 days the card you added is charged $5/month. We email you 2 days before that. Cancelling takes one click in Billing and your subdomains stay live until the period ends.
How do you handle abuse?
New subdomains are screened automatically (public page classification + Google Safe Browsing) and anyone can report a subdomain. We respond to reports within 24 hours.
